Making a longer address

A longer address, usually at a conference or a seminar, is an opportunity to express more fully the message you want to get across to an audience. We use quotations, research and detailed analysis in a longer address, but we remember that the message and the portent is the key element.

We don’t want people to walk away in awe of what Oscar Wilde or Jonathan Swift said about the subject before we were born – we want them to feel that you’ve done the research, know the topic and can be relied upon as a source on which they can base future decisions.
