Public Speaking 101

This video gives a broad overview of our objectives in public speaking – why we do it, who we do it for, what we need to consider before we try to deliver a speech, and how we might make the opportunity to speak our own.

The purpose of public speaking isn’t to hear our own voice, but to show others we’re ready to speak out on their behalf. It’s a powerful tool, and we need to learn the skill so we can use it for our members.
